Specializing in classic Italian cuisine with a contemporary twist, this charming eatery masterfully balances traditional flavors with modern techniques, making every bite a celebration of Italy’s rich food heritage.

The menu reads like a love letter to Italy’s beloved dishes, with crowd-pleasers such as the perfectly spiced Pepperoni Pizza boasting a thin, crispy crust loaded with bubbling mozzarella and hearty sausage; velvety Chicken Alfredo pasta that soothes the soul; and the comforting layers of beef lasagne enveloped in rich béchamel and cheddar. Not to be missed are the al forno specialties like the oven-baked Spicy Sausage Gnocchi, tender little pillows of potato dumplings cloaked in a creamy sauce that hits the perfect balance of spice and indulgence.

For those seeking lighter fare or plant-based options, Prezzo offers vibrant dishes like the herbaceous Tomato Bruschetta, the fresh and creamy Spinach & Ricotta Cannelloni, and a delightfully hearty Vegan Spaghetti Bolognese. The expertly crafted Truffle Fries add a luxurious earthy aroma and a crisp texture that entice the senses, while the Blood Orange Lemonade refreshes with its bright, citrusy zing, providing a perfect palate cleanser.

Begin your meal with a tempting selection of starters such as the Prezzo’s Sharing Board, brimming with prosciutto, pepperoni, creamy mozzarella, and sun-dried tomatoes, or savor the warm, golden Dough Twist, a playful pizza crust that’s simply irresistible. A couple of our party of 6 had already arrived and were at our table, so we had no need to be seated, but it looked like it was a swift process. Our waitress/server Ella attended soon after, to take our drinks order, which arrived promptly. I am not sure whether it was the size of the restaurant or the fact it was glass fronted and bright, but there was not much of an atmosphere when we got there, and it seemed rather impersonal, however Ella more than made up for it with her fresh face, smile and demeaner. I will add that the atmosphere DID get better as the restaurant got busier. Due to only some of us having starters, we anticipated ordering would be fraught with problems, however Ella was very efficient and always had a smile. The food arrived in good time, although Ella did apologise for the wait, which was appreciated despite us not really noticing as we were chatting. The food itself was excellent. We had tomato bruschetta, oven-baked creamy mushrooms, and the calamari to start which were all very tasty and a decent portion, but not so much as to fill you up before the main course. We followed this with by pepperoni pizza, spaghetti Bolognese, spaghetti carbonara, Prezzo burger, Tucson beef and mash and the crab and lobster ravioli, which was divine. They were served promptly and came with warnings about the temperature of the serving dishes, which we thought was a very considerate touch. Ella was perfect in every way, and not flustered at any point, even starting to take another drinks order whilst clearing our table. I would say there is definitely a future in hospitality, should she wish to pursue it. Her attention to our needs was amazing, and I think that she is a definite asset to the restaurant with her amiable, friendly approach, notwithstanding her knowledge of both the food and drinks menu. We shall definitely be coming here again.

Food was lovely, was very busy and service was a tad slow. We was also told that they were not accepting kids free meal vouchers as it was the wrong time but no where on the terms and conditions does it say a cut off time, just says from 12pm. We were going to eat there regardless but don't want other people to think they can get a kids free meal in the evening when they can't

Squeezed us in on a busy evening without a reservation. The service was very good, friendly and attentive staff, especially Melinda. Pizza and pasta dishes we ordered were all of a good quality. Buzzy atmosphere but not too loud. Overall a good experience. Will be back. Thanks.

We came to use a gluten free 2 for 1 offer and it was good. The service was great as was the atmosphere and the pizza we chose was delicious. There was also a good selection of no alcohol drinks on offer. There were desserts that we could enjoy but I would like to see the meatballs back on the starters please. All in all, a great experience and excellent value.

We visited the Braintree branch last week Sunday and had such a wonderful experience thanks to our server, Lacey. She greeted us with a lovely smile and was attentive throughout our visit, making sure we had everything we needed. She checked on us at the right moments without ever feeling intrusive, and she was especially kind and warm towards our daughter, which meant so much to us as a family. Lacey truly enhanced our dining experience, and her exceptional service made our visit memorable. Thank you, Lacey. we’ll definitely be back!
